Bagalkot district is known for its harsh climate with limited rainfall throughout the year. The brunt of it is taken by Ilkaltaluk which has been suffering from a disastrous drought over the past decade. To overcome the problem, the Karnataka government built a water supply from Almatti Dam to Ilkal. The film detailing the effort of the government to establish the 24/7 water supply was showcased in many platforms across the country.
